His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebrations will commence with a Kesyukuran Ceremony this Monday, the 14th of July 2025, with the focal point at Jame' ' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampung Kiarong. To ensure the smooth running of the ceremony, the Religious Events Working Committee conducted a review of preparations for the ceremony at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, 12th July afternoon.

Apart from the main focus at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, the event will also be held at mosques nationwide. Present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
